Client Liaison Co-ordinator

Margaret made the very difficult decision to retire at the end of 2024 and although we said goodbye to her in her role as Registered Manager, we are delighted that she continues to work on a part time basis in a Client Liaison Role where she is responsible for new assessments, reviews and catching up with clients and family members, particularly when they are experiencing issues (e.g. benefit support etc).

At a young age Margaret was a qualified Fashion teacher. Whilst on maternity leave after having her eldest two children she helped a friend who was a District Nurse who had just bought her first Residential Home.

Margaret ended up becoming the Manager for the home in Lytham St. Annes.

In the 1980’s many large houses and hotels were converted into Residential Homes and Margaret attended the first course held at St. Annes college to acquire a qualification in Residential Management.
