Doreen Chike-Okonkwo
Senior Domiciliary Care Assistant
Doreen is from Nigeria and joined Clifton Homecare through overseas recruitment in 2023. Prior to joining Clifton, she worked in the banking sector but first entered the social care sector during the COVID pandemic and she has not looked back since. She has worked with children with learning disabilities and also in a domiciliary care setting previously. She loves working with Clifton Homecare and has received a lot of training and support which has given her a lot of confidence in the job. She is currently undertaking the Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
Doreen’s Interests
Doreen is married to Desmond and enjoys spending time with her sons, David, Daniel and Donald ( it’s a family of D’s!) exploring exciting places and events. She also likes cooking (not like she has a choice… as she has three boys who love to eat). When she is not spending time with the boys, her perfect evening is with a glass of wine, in bed watching a movie.
